Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, a day dedicated to showing our support for law enforcement on the local, state, and federal levels. Created in 2015, this day allows us to voice our appreciation to law enforcement officers for their service to us all. The Dallas Lowry Foundation thanks the men and women of law enforcement for the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to the rule of law they display every day. Send them an email, post support for them, or just give them a call and say, “thank you.” These small gestures are significant as we show our support for those who dedicate their lives to public safety.

Past couple of months has been busy. We received acceptance today as members of the OKCNP. We are excited to be on this journey. Many more things coming soon. We received notice as being recognized as a 501c3 effective September 3rd. Dallas’ birthday is the 5th. Close enough for us. Happy New Year!!! We are so excited for 2022. We recently received our IRS determination letter and are now officially a 501c3 non profit. We are working on submitting paperwork so we can kick some things off. T-shirt’s will be available very soon. We will have multiple colors and styles available. We will be working on other products to offer down the road. Our donation portals are all almost ready to go. As of today you can start your own fundraiser on Facebook using the fundraiser tab on our page. 100% of your donation comes to us. We will have other options available soon. Of course we have the PO Box so feel free to send there. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes. The Board of Directors recently met and officially formed and voted our by laws in. We will feature them here and there and the work they are doing. Over Christmas Santa Scott Claus shared the story of the foundation and brought in close to $700. A local dispensary, Hybrid Modern Cannabis, recently raised over $1,000 and have plans to continue giving throughout the year. To say we are thankful to everyone can’t quite cover it. The support from the community and our friends are what has gotten us to where we are today. We have so much more in the works and can’t wait to share with everyone as we move along.
